What is the Difference Between Club Diver
Certifications and International Certifications?
Generally the CLUB SYSTEMS are based on local needs, and clubs
are operated by national not-for profit organisations like the
BSAC (British Sub Aqua Club or the SAA (Sub Aqua Association) in
the UK. And Many Clubs are CMAS Affiliated in Europe, like FEDAS
in Spain. Clubs tend to offer scuba certifications over longer
time periods with weekly, bi-weekly or monthly training sessions
and weekend Open Water training in Lakes or Quarries / Inland
water area's, and/or Diving Training Tours for "Open Water
Certification"... The International System is more Resort
Based with divers attending training at dive centres or resort
schools in just a few days when on vacation or on diving holidays.
